上课时间及地点
课程设计理念
关注对核心概念的深入理解,能够呈现学科大图景的核心知识结构。
课程目标
学习有方法——做中学、使用中学——学会更高效的学习;
学习有方向——关注、思考和发现——把握学科大图景、基本概念;
学习有动力——先行者们对相应学科的感情——培育对学科的感情;
学习是为了创造——创造新知识以及创造性地使用知识。
课程安排
教务系统中选课时有5个平行班(环境1、教育1、教育2、物理1、物理2)任选其一即可。
课程采用专家集中授课的模式,期间穿插助教辅导课,每位学生需要修读技能模块(1学分2周)和任选模块(环境、教育、物理)选其一(1学分2周)。
技能模块:主要为理念和技巧的训练,学生从中学习到理解型学习的思想方法以及概念地图制作技术。
任选模块:邀请国内外专家来展示如何在不同学科背景下实现理解性学习和思考(以概念地图为辅助工具)。

任课教师
Jinshan Wu is a professor of Physics and Systems Science in School of Systems Science at Beijing Normal University.
Prof. Wu is currently involved in various research topics including Quantum Transport, Quantum Foundation, Game Theory and Experiments, Scientometrics, Meaningful Learning and Concept Mapping (and their application in Learning Chinese, Physics etc.), and Network Science. He has been implementing and calling for teaching without boundary and researching without disciplines for quite some years. In this course, he will share with you how to study smart but not hard.
Jinshan Wu
Alberto J. Cañas is Co-Founder and an Associate Director of the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition.
For many years, Prof. Cañas is interested in understanding the pedagogical aspects of using technology and taking advantage of his Computer Science background to come up with innovative solutions. His research include: uses of computers in education, knowledge management, knowledge acquisition, information retrieval, and human-machine interface. Prof. Cañas has lectured throughout many countries in North and Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia. In this course, he will guide you through the transition between a rote learner and a meaningful learner.
Alberto J. Cañas
Michael Brody is a Educator and Scientist in Department of Education at Montana State University.
For many years, Prof. Brody has been an innovative educator in environmental education where he uses concept maps and Vee diagrams to teach students meaningful learning. He is also an expert in systemic thinking in environments and environmental education. In this course, Prof. Brody will share with you how these three ingredients, concept maps, Vee diagrams and system approach , can help students to achieve better understanding and learning of environmental science.
