在一战期间，城堡被德军所占领，并遭到了炮火的摧残。战后虽得到了修复，但是20世纪末时还是遭遗弃。

During World War I the castle was occupied by Germans, and it got damaged due to bombings. After the World War the castle got restored. At the end of the 20th century the castle became abandoned.
